The regional commissioner made the call yesterday as she handed over 200 bed sheets to Tanga regional referral hospital in Bombo, donated by the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF). "If your reception is good you show love and use good language, then the patient feels confident of getting better treatment creating confidence and trust in patients is important in the process of offering medical treatment you must think of it ...I am sure everyone here knows the professional code of conduct É please apply them," she pointed out.
However, she congratulated Bombo health workers for a tremendous job they have been doing. The Tanga Regional NHIF Manager, Mr Mwakababau Ally, said that his institute has spent about 3mil/- in order to ease the shortage of bed sheets at the regional hospital.
