He made the call in Bukoba Municipality on Wednesday during a three-day tour of the region. Mr Mangula is also former Kagera Regional Commissioner.

He reminded Tanzanians that peace and unity were essential tools which saw the country being cherished as a 'Garden of Peace,' where thousands of refugees took refuge following conflicts in their own countries. "

He also blasted few CCM cadres who were going around disclosing that they would run for various posts during 2015 general election.

He said the time was not ripe as the party matters were conducted according to its constitution. Meanwhile, reports from Ngara District said over 30,000 heads of unvaccinated cattle were rounded up by 'wananchi,' who conducted an operation at Benaco forest. According to the reports, hundreds of unvaccinated livestock entered the district from a neighbouring country, posing a security risk.
