He said they are inviting teams to feature in the event which is the first to be staged at the club’s grounds.
“This is a chance for companies, financial institutions and others to get together in the event and compete because sports are one of the best unifying factors in today’s global social and business environment,” said Luande.
“In sports, all the rivalry and business competition is put aside and people come to cheer and jump around together.
“Due to this spirit, the DGC and GWL have come together to organise this event, which he believe will help companies and various groups to socialization, network and exercise their bodies for healthy life.”
He said golfers will compete in 18 holes while tennis, snooker and squash will feature individual events as cricket and football will involve team event.
“The DGC is a multi-faceted sports facility capable of hosting various sports activities as it has 14 hard tennis courts, six squash courts, an 18-hole golf course, a football pitch complete with flood lights and a cricket field which can also host track and field events.
