FORMER Simba Sports Club players; defender Pascal Wawa ‘Sultan’ and striker Meddie Kagere have been unveiled as new footballers of Singida Big Stars.

Singida based club introduced the players before a friendly match against Zambia’s Zanaco club in Singida town.

The players were in Simba’s trip in Egypt but the Msimbazi based club decided to release them before joining the newly promoted club to the elite Mainland Premier League.

In their spell at Simba SC, the duo played a pivotal role, helping the club to win Mainland Premier League and Confederation Cup titles.

They also helped the club to qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup and African Champions’ League group stages.

Kagere emerged top goal scorer of the Premier League in two consecutive seasons.
