FORMER Simba SC spokesperson, Haji Manara has said he was ‘very’ disappointed seeing then Mainland Premier League champions’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Senzo Mbatha Mazingiza leaving the club for the archrivals Young Africans SC.
Speaking at a press conference in Dar es Salaam, the outspoken Manara said Senzo’s resignation from Simba SC shocked him and was a bad experience he faced when he was serving at the Mainland champs.
“Senzo was a very good leader, we collaborated so well and that is why when I heard about his resignation, I was so heart broken. You can’t believe it, I shed tears for him,” Manara said.
The South African nationals Senzo joined Simba SC in September 2019 and in August 2020 he resigned from the club and joined their rivals Young Africans SC alias Yanga.
