ALLIANCE FC were held to a barren draw by LDK Rwanda in the Federation of East African Schools Sports (FEASSA), games in Arusha yesterday.
The match was fascinating but scarcity of goals failed to give audience the sought entertainment. Alliance of Tanzania dominated the game in the both halves but could not break the deadlock due to poor finishing.
The event goes into its third day with football matches at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium. This year’s competition has drawn secondary school students from Rwanda, Tanzania,Kenya and Uganda.
In hockey, Friends School Kamusinga from Kenya drew 1-1 with St. Mary’s Kisubi of Uganda while Bweranyange of Uganda had a voluminous 4-0 victory over Lindi in the one-sided match.
Also triumphed was Kakungulu who defeated Namagunga 3-0.
