World Cup comes live through Smartphones

FOOTBALL fans across the country will be able to watch World Cup 2018 matches in Russia through their Smartphones; thanks to a partnership between Vodacom Tanzania and Kwesé iflix, a joint venture of Econet Media, one of Africa’s leading Media Company, broadcast network and iflix.

Through the partnership, subscribers of Vodacom will be able to stream Kwesé iflix’s programming at super speed which ensures a buffer free user experience.

With thousands of programmes available, Kwesé iflix’s vast library includes international first-run exclusive shows, award-winning TV series and blockbuster movies such as ICE, Cleverman, Project Runway; Fashion Start-Up S1 and Confess.

The programmes also include local shows such as Muoshwa huoshwa, Barua, Mama Huruma, Nabii Mswahili & Saa Mbovu and regional content - Telenovelas such as Goblin, Naagin and Bride of Habaek - children’s programmes and lifestyle content.

The service also offers Tanzanians quality content they can watch for free, including shortform drama series and first episodes of TV shows.
