MBAO FC Assistant Coach, Hamadi Ally is looking for means to rejuvenate his squad following a 2-1 loss to Lipuli in the eighth round match at Samora Machel Stadium in Iringa over the weekend.
The Assistant Coach said he was working on means to sharpen the squad ahead of their next league match and expects positive results. He said the team has resumed training that aims at rectifying mistakes that enabled Lipuli to claim a 2-1 victory at their home ground.
He further said he would field a better and winning squad in their next match against Njombe Mji FC at Saba Saba Stadium in Njombe. Mbao FC who survived relegation last season after beating the defending champions Young Africans 1-0 in their last premier league match, are now placed eleventh after their last eight outings.
They have won only one match against Kagera Sugar in the season opener. They have netted eleven goals and conceded nine goals. Mbao FC have drawn four matches against Simba SC, Tanzania Prisons, Mbeya city and Azam FC.
Meanwhile, Speaking on his team’s preparations against Mbao FC this weekend, Njombe Mji FC assistant coach Mrage Kabange said his team is well prepared and he is confident his players will win the match.
The former Kagera Sugar coach, Kabange said his strikers are still hesitant at the goal, a situation, he said denied the team obvious goals. He added his team has resumed training since Monday this week at CCM Saba Saba ground.
