SIMBA SC midfielder Said Ndemla is expected to leave the country today for professional football trials at AFC Eskilstuna of Sweden.

It was revealed yesterday by Simba’s Head of Communications Haji Manara that the industrious midfielder will be in Sweden for two weeks, in trials that will make him the second Tanzanian to play in Sweden if he succeeds.

The team, according to Manara is in the Swedish Premier League popularly known as Superettan. “The club believes Ndemla will perform well and excel in the trials. If he fails to succeed, he will continue to be our trusted player.

This is the policy of Simba whereby we allow players to go extra miles to try their luck in professional football,” Manara said. If he excels, Ndemla (21) will join his fellow Tanzanian, Thomas Ulimwengu at the club.

Ulimwengu, is however out of action nursing knee injury that has put him out of action since September this year and is slated to return to the battle field in January next year.

Ndemla was promoted into Simba’s senior squad in 2013 from the club’s junior squad and has been a profitable figure of the country’s football team ‘Taifa Stars’ since 2015.
