Indian spine specialist coming

A SPINE surgeon specialist from Multi-Specialty Shalby Hospital, Ahmedabad, India, Dr Viral Shah, is expected in the country later this week to examine patients with spine complications.

The three-day clinic will be conducted at Regency Medical Centre (RMC) in Dar es Salaam and the specialist will consult those who will be found with spine and backache problems. According to RMC Chairman, Dr Rajni Kanabar, the clinic would be conducted between July 9 and 11.

"This is good news for Tanzanians with such problems that diagnostic and screening clinic of all spine patients and backache problems specialist from the largest spine centre in India will conduct, said Dr Kanabar.  Dr Kanabar said that all those who want to consult the specialist should go to RMC with their previous X-Rays and medical reports.
 
"Only the first 200 registered patients will get the opportunity to see the specialist. We encourage those with such problems to take this opportunity," he said.
