AMREF makes rural women to deliver in hospitals

A Kurya traditional dance group that the authorities use to sensitize women about safe delivery and in the fight against HIV/AIDS display the power of their drama even in the fight against gender-violence in Tarime. The group is under AMREF’s Tuimarishe Project.THE number of pregnant women turning up to utilize formal system before and during delivery in Tarime has significantly increased, thanks to the Africa Medical Research Foundation (AMREF) for initiating a health project that has widely benefited thousands of rural women in the area.
