ONE factor most Tanzanians can be singled out and take pride in is their multiculturalism. In spite of the fact that we are over 100 tribes here subscribing to different religions, this factor is not easily noticeable even among ourselves or for visitors to this country.

AS I am filing this perspective, I have just concluded a visit of Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Land of Patrice Emery Lumumba, that renowned son of Africa assassinated by agents of international capital at the dawn of Africa’s battle for political independence.
